Welcome to the Byron Bay Lindy Exchange (BBLX) – the first of its kind, and an unforgettable experience! Join us for a thrilling three-day and three-night Lindy Hop exchange set in one of Australia’s most iconic destinations, Byron Bay, located in Northern New South Wales. With its stunning beaches, laid-back vibe, and vibrant community, Byron Bay offers the perfect backdrop for a dance weekend like no other.
Whether you’re an experienced Lindy Hopper or just looking to immerse yourself in the social dance scene, BBLX is designed for all levels. By day, you’ll have the chance to explore Byron Bay’s natural beauty, connect with fellow dancers, and unwind with wellness activities. By night, we’ll light up the dance floor with live music, special guest DJs, and plenty of opportunities to meet new friends and dance the night away.
This exchange is all about building community, creating lasting friendships, and elevating your Lindy Hop experience. It’s not just about the dancing (although that’s a big part!), it’s about embracing the culture of swing dance, finding new partners, and creating memories in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

There will be limited Early Bird Tickets Available. $185pp includes everything in the “Full Weekend Pass”. Once Early Bird Allocation is exhausted then it will revert to full price of $220 until sold out. We look forward to welcoming dancers from all around Australia, NZ & the rest of the world. The interest abroad has been amazing!

Arriving in Byron? Kick off the weekend with our Break the Ice Picnic by the ocean! Relax, mingle, and enjoy a laid-back lunch while meeting fellow dancers. (FREE)
🚶♂️ Saturday Morning – Lighthouse Walk & Beach Yoga (FREE)
Start the day with a morning walk to the iconic Byron Bay Lighthouse, taking in stunning views and fresh sea air. Afterward, unwind with a FREE yoga session on the beach, led by Byron’s renowned yoga teacher, Laura Rizzi.
🚌 Sunday – Secret Hideaway Road Trip & Sunset Dance
Hop on the Byron Bus as we venture to hidden gems and breathtaking locations. Our journey ends with a sunset dance overlooking Kingscliff Beach—a magical moment to close out an amazing weekend. (Bus Travel & Farewell Dance in included in your weekend pass – Any other purchases on the mystery tour at your own cost)
